I have been on Windows 7 since the Release Candidate; and I have to say that I absolutely love it. It had been great to me: faster boot-ups and shut-downs, easier to use, looks better, faster; the list could go on forever. That is not the point of this article though. The point is; if you are a student - Go Party!

Is that Office 2007 you are looking at above? Nope. It is OpenOffice.org. In case you don't know what that is, it is a free alternative to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Large businesses with volume license deals for Windows 7 will get their hands on the completed product tomorrow, Friday.

Other large businesses will get the product on September first.

For the rest of us, and small businesses, will have to wait until October 22. That is when the product will hit retail...
